On Thursday May 11, 2017, Kathleen Liska passed away suddenly at the age of 72 years. She is survived by her children, Erick and Shannon, her former husband Phil, seven brothers and sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Kathleen was predeceased by both of her parents, John 'Ken' Mitchell, Lucille Mitchell née Richardson, and by her brother Gary.

In addition to raising her own children, Kathleen was often a second mom for other kids who found themselves in her home. She worked in several fields over her life but loved the years spent in software testing and development the most. Kathleen was an artist at heart and loved gardening, decorating, drawing, and painting. She had an abundance of compassion and would give almost anything that she could to help anyone who was in need.

Kathleen will be missed greatly and remembered always
