Kathy was born and raised in southern California and found her home with her best friend and husband Norm in Mission Viejo. Together they helped to raise Sean, Christie, Genevieve, and Nicole. But in her later years, her 9 grandchildren became the absolute center of her world. Nothing brought her more joy than making them happy.

She was devout catholic and loved the family ancestry of where she came from. Kathy spent her life surrounded by the things she loved most, her family, Laguna Beach, her animals and a good Jack in the Box breakfast platter. She also loved horses and all things western and was always down to dance. Her dogs were constant companions throughout her life. She brought sparkle and color wherever she went and her personality was as bold as the colors she wore.

And Kathy herself was anything but ordinary. She was a true spitfire, loved the center of attention and never met a little gossip she didn’t enjoy. She was colorful, complicated, funny, strong-willed and was a woman who could fill the room simply by walking in it because she lived her life in full color.

I believe she will leave a little of that color in everyone who knew and loved her.
