Katherine "Kathy" Rivera passed away on Saturday April 3, 2021.

Kathy was born in Bulacan, Philippines to Teodoro and Erlinda Lopez. She followed her dream and went on to become a nurse.

Kathy was a determined, passionate, and hard working person who always went after what she wanted. As a nurse, she was loved by all her patients and their families. Kathy had a big heart and she had the ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She lit up any room she walked into with her positive energy and illuminated the world with her heart. She enjoyed the simple things; chatting with friends, watching movies, snacking, and spending time with her family.

Kathy is survived by her parents: Teodoro and Erlinda Lopez. Children: Chelsea, Kalev, and Chez. Significant other: Jose Chua. Brothers: Mark and Anthony Lopez. Sister in laws: Paula Velayo and Joanna Fronda. Nieces and nephew: Tonie, Kate, and Keisler. And many friends and colleagues.
