My condolences to Kathy’s family on their loss. I worked with Kathy at Eyeonics, her courage and dignity while battling cancer was admirable, she seemed to be enjoying life and I’m sorry that it ended so soon.

My aunt will always be a wonderful role model for me. She was so loving and so much fun to be around. She was also courageous; she seemed to draw on some reserve of strength for making difficult decisions and it was beautiful and impressive. She carried herself with a grace that I admire so much. I miss her terribly, and I really appreciate reading the entries here.

  4. Remembered always with love,a brave and gracious lady.A lovely smile that made all who saw it happy.

  5. It is with great sadness that we have learnt that Kathy had left us for a better world.
Kayo and I have spent our very first holidays together in New Jersey just after we had met in a plane from New York to Tokyo!where Kathy and Mitch were living at the time. She was full of energy and I will always recall her catching me looking at children outside a Mall and telling me that I certainly would enjoy having a family of my own and children… She had got it right! Also, while we were living in Japan, she did send us a beautiful bedcover for our first baby girl, Akané. We will cherish it as we think of Kathy’s beautiful smile.
