Obituary

Karl Spencer Aiken, 64, of San Clemente, CA, passed away on December 31^st of 2025. Our lives are forever changed. We will miss his humor and laugh and his “legendary” storytelling. He was someone who was able to think outside of the box, and spoke the truth whether it was popular or not. He was someone you knew would have your back.

As a family, we will miss the camping and strolling about the San Clemente Pier and Dana Point Harbor. He was a beloved husband and very proud father. He couldn’t stop bragging about his sons’ accomplishments. He was also proud of being an area plumber with his own company for 40 years.

Karl is predeceased by his parents, Jim and Janet, and his brothers Kurt and Kent. He leaves behind his wife, Amy, and his sons Kai and Spencer. He also leaves behind his sister Kim (Bob) and brother Kraig (Kris), and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on March 14, 2026 at 2:00pm at the Dana Point Harbor.

Were just starfish on the beach.
