Karen Leslie Medeiros, 65, was born June 29, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA and passed away September 27, 2011 in Laguna Hills, CA.

An Educator for 38 years, Karen earned her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the University of Pacific.

Karen is survived by her husband Vernon Medeiros, whom she married March 20, 1998 in Laguna Niguel, CA; daughter Jennifer Schaen (Matthew) Harps; parents Court and Muriel Boxwell; brothers Robert and Steve Boxwell; grandchildren Kasey Schaen Harps and Carter Matthew Harps; step-children Carly Medeiros and Jeffrey Medeiros.

A Memorial Service will take place Monday October 3, 2011 at 10:00am at Coast Hills Church, 5 Pursuit, Aliso Viejo, CA with reception to follow.
