Kailashben Patel, 72, of Laguna Hills entered Heaven's gates at 1:36 pm on February 11, 2013.

Kailashben was born on August 01, 1940 in India. She married Hargovind Patel (surviving) in 1957. She immigrated to America in the winter of 1971.

Also surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law: Aruna & Charlie Norton, Nayna & John Lilegdon, Ela Ford, Lata & Brian Boyd, loving grandson Craig Norton and countless family members and friends around the world.

A long time resident of Chicago and California, Kailashben loved gardening, cooking and caring for her family.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15th 2013 at O'Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to a charity of your choice in her honor, a blood or monetary donation to the American Red Cross or a warm meal be provided for her husband.

Kailashben Patel embodied compassion, strength, selflessness and love. Words cannot describe the amazing gift and blessing that we were given to have her in our lives. Nothing brought her greater joy than to love and care for her family and friends. The depths of her hospitality were boundless; she offered her home, support, kindness and love to so many and never expected anything in return.
