Obituary

Julie was born in Inglewood California in 1962 and lived in Torrance California. She graduated from Bishop Montgomery High School and El Camino College where she met her husband and was married in 1987. After getting married, she moved to Orange County in 1988 to start a family.

She was a bubbly mother of 4 boys, outgoing and always the life of any gathering. She loved music and was musically talented with her voice. She dearly cared about her family as a devoted wife, mother, sister and daughter but her life long illness prevented her from fulfilling her life long dreams. One of her passions besides traveling to Hawaii for vacation or watching re-runs of I Love Lucy was being an Avon sales representative where she enthusiastically enjoyed collecting Mrs. Alby awards every year for her sales performance and dedication.

As a loving wife, Julie never extinguished that flame of love from her heart no matter how difficult her times were. She is survived by her husband Marcel of 27 years, four boys: Andrew, Austin, Aaron & Alex, a sister Lisa Shank and mother Iris Braschuk. May she rest in peace in god’s loving arms to suffer no more but to smile and watch upon us from heaven….In lieu of any flowers, please make any donations to your local Alcoholics Anonymous chapter.

  1. Dear Julie. I am so devastated to learn about your passing and I am sorry that I was not there to attend your funeral. Just before your passing, I lost a sister in August of 2014 and then another sister in May 2015. As a long time neighbor and one of your best Avon customers, the last time we spoke you were going through some very difficult times. I still have the yellow Easter Lily you gave me in my garden and now every time it blooms, I will think of you and your kind heart. Rest in peace my friend.
    Love,
    Marta

  2. Dearest Julie,

I have so many great memories of time we spent together… Palm Springs or just sitting in your bedroom while you prepped for a night on the town. I’ll always cherish those memories and our friendship!

    Love,
    Deni
