Judith Judy Cunnison passed away at her home on February 15, 2011 due to complications from sarcoidosis.

Judy was born in Riverside, CA on October 17, 1941. She lived in Riverside until 1973 and then moved with her husband and two children to Beaverton, OR where she was an employee of the City of Beaverton for many years. After she moved back to California in 1986, Judy earned her Associate of Arts degree in Interior Design and was employed at Taco Bell Corporation for over 20 years before retiring.

Judy had many interests but among her favorite was babysitting her granddaughters Halley, Alyssa, Chloe, Emily and Payton. She was a member of Presbyterian Church of the Master and was very active in the Women’s Ministry. She was a volunteer at Mission Hospital and belonged to a bible study group for many years as well as a book club. She loved camping, gardening, making special hand-made cards for family and friends and most of all, spending time with her family. Judy will be remembered for her great laugh, generous smile, loving nature and positive attitude.

Her father, William Shawler, and her mother, Audrey Shawler, preceded Judy in death. She is survived by her sister Carol Lenox, her brother Robert Shawler, her daughters, Karen Eric and Linda Dave, and her five beautiful granddaughters.

A celebration of her sixty-nine years of life will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, February 28 at Presbyterian Church of the Master 26051 Marguerite Parkway, Mission Viejo, CA 949 582-2670. The family has requested in lieu of flowers please send memorial donations to the Women’s Ministry at Presbyterian Church of the Master.
