Judith Maie Heck
June 8, 1948 – May 7, 2024

Judith Maie Bailey Heck, daughter of the late William L. and Doris I. Bailey, passed away on May 7, 2024 (75 years old) in Laguna Woods, CA. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Judy graduated from Roxborough High School in 1965 and attended St. Joseph University. A longtime member of Upper Dublin Lutheran Church in Ambler, PA, Judy served on church council, was co-chair of the church's Build to Witness campaign and worked as Office Administrator for ten years.

In addition, Judy was on both the board of directors for the Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard, and on the Artman Lutheran Home fundraising committee.

A longtime resident of Fort Washington, PA, Judy followed her lifelong dream and moved to Southern California in 2007.

Judy was an active member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Laguna Woods, and served on the parish council for four years and assisted in teaching religious education to children for many years.

Judy is survived by daughter, Erica Heck, stepson, Gregory Heck (Kristen), grandsons, Aaron and Ethan Heck and sister, Robin Sampson (Tom).

Celebration of Life for Judy will be Thursday, May 30 ^th at St. Kilian Catholic Church.
