Juanita Mary Anderson Muir

Juanita Mary Anderson Muir, 97 years old, born October 11, 1928 in Bountiful Utah , passed away peacefully at home on January 13, 2026 in Dana Point, California.

She is survived by her husband of 78 years, Lynn J Muir, her sons Gerald Nolan Muir (Loretta) and Lynn J

Muir Jr. (Linda) and daughter Patricia Ann Owen (Greg), her sister Ione Johnson in Centerville Utah, 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She attended and graduated from Davis high school in Kaysville, Utah, where she met her future husband Lynn J. Muir from Clearfield Utah. In her early years, she worked for the US Post Office, and as a secretary for the family business. She was very active in her children’s lives and provided loving care for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved traveling with Lynn, visiting several countries, often collecting palm seeds supporting Lynn’s palm tree hobby.

Funeral Services will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, (LDS), at 470 Camino San Clemente, San Clemente, CA. 92672. Services will begin at 10:30 am., Saturday, January 31, 2026. Burial will occur at Bountiful City Cemetery, in Bountiful, Utah.
