Josiane Reine Ghislaine Mombaerts DeKarver, our beautiful and beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on November 6, 2016 at the age of 68.

Josiane was born November 22, 1947 in Brussels, Belgium to Helene Mottier and Guy Mombaerts. She married Martin Lynn DeKarver on September 22, 1966 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have had 50 wonderful years together with their family.

Josiane worked for the Irvine Unified School District for 25 years. She worked in several positions and lastly, worked as a Health Clerk for the past 15 years. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many positions in the different auxiliaries of the church. In the past year she volunteered with her husband at the Friends of the Katie Wheeler Library Bookstore in Irvine.

Josiane is survived by her loving husband Martin; three children, Nathalie Drake (Todd) of Brentwood, TN, Eric DeKarver of Saratoga Springs, UT and Anne Jones (Matthew) of Eagle Mountain, UT. She has ten wonderful grandchildren whom she loved dearly and who love her equally as much.

The family invites Josiane's friends to attend her funeral services which will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 23 Lake Rd., Irvine, Ca. A viewing will precede the services beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the church.

Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, Salt Lake City on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Family and friends are invited to attend.
