  1. What a joyful celebration is going on in heaven right now. Josie is dancing with her Lord and Savior and sharing memories with those who went before her. One of those being my mother Mary Murray Timby. My prayers are with her family

  2. A truly loyal and cherished friend. I will miss her.

  3. Josie and my mother, Barbara Renner Johnston, were longtime friends for at least 50 years. They met when they worked for the same Attorney in Portville, NY. when I was still a child. Josie always remained in contact with our family, no matter how far apart we lived. So loyal was she to those she loved, she continued to contact my mother and me often, even after my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and was having trouble remembering her friends. Josie will be greatly and affectionately missed.

My dad, Pat (Bud) Hoar was Jack’s cousin and in their wedding. I was the flower girl. I was 2 1/2 at the time and I remember how beautiful Josie was on her wedding day. Just gorgeous. Jackie was so in love with her that even a little girl could see it. I have a photo from that day the smile on his face! I still have my flower girl dress (I am now 69.) My own daughter wore it for Easter the year she turned 3.

I remember Tan, Jack’s mother. She was my grandmother’s sister. I am sad to hear both Jack & Josie have passed. My condolences to all ~ Bev Hoar Hanlon, Williamsville, NY
