I met Josie as a batchmate in Jazz Mass Choir of St. Andrew’s Parish in Pque. She and her sister, Marides, were close friends to me. I will always remember Josie, not only for her friendliness, but for her artistic talent as well. She designed the poster and ticket of our choir’s first concert in 1976. I will surely miss her.

  3. Josie was my son, Jerome’s godmother and my everdearest cousin. We grew up together in the Philippines. We shared so much memories. I will miss her caring, loving and thoughtfulness. But most of all, I will miss her presence in all the family’s gatherings. She was one of a kind. I will truly and terribly miss her…but I will keep her memories in my heart.

To my dearest cousin-in-law, Richard, my heartfelt condolence. Be comforted that you were not alone during these trying times. Our love, thoughts and prayers are with you. You were so good to Josie from the beginning and up to the end. Thank you for loving and for taking care of Josie. Thank you for giving Josie a life worth living. You were really made for each other. God bless you Richard!

  4. Josie was our classmate since 2nd grade. We had a lot of fun memories & precious photographs when we were in elementary. After so many years, we reconnected & was so excited to make up for lost time. We will miss her wit & contagious sense of humor. These were her enduring qualities when times were tough. Our condolences to Richard & the del Rosario family. May the comfort of God help you through during this difficult time.

  5. My condolences to Richard.
When at Sentry I remember Josie being one of the busiest people in the office but when you entered her office you received a great big smile making you fell welcome. I will always remember that smile.
