Obituary
Josephine del Rosario Moore of Irvine, a native of the Philippines and a resident of Southern California for 28 years, passed away on February 16. Josie graduated from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Although she followed a career in accounting, she continued her love of the arts and enjoyed painting. She is survived by her husband Richard Moore, mother Mercedes del Rosario, sisters Angie Almuete, Charie del Rosario, Carol Montes, Ma. Mercedes del Rosario, and brother Jun del Rosario. Memorial service at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Irvine, Friday Feb. 27 at 10:00 AM. Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Research Institute or the American Stroke Association.

Dear Richard, Paul and I send our love, and our prayer is that God’s grace will sustain you and give you peace through this so very difficult time. We never met your precious Josie and actually I’m thinking maybe we never got to know you; yet we do know you both because your mom, our cousin Cary has kept us informed. Today I bid my friend my final good bye…I may not see you again, but in my heart you will live forever. You have touched my heart in a very special way. Though we are thousands of miles away, somehow we stayed connected in so many different ways. I am grateful that Josie and I continued our friendship after Kale and I moved to Texas. When traveling back to southern California, we would always plan a visit with Josie. I’ll always remember her as a positive role model and a supportive friend.
