  1. Dear Richard, Paul and I send our love, and our prayer is that God’s grace will sustain you and give you peace through this so very difficult time. We never met your precious Josie and actually I’m thinking maybe we never got to know you; yet we do know you both because your mom, our cousin Cary has kept us informed. She told us what a wonderful, delightful beautiful young woman you married. We were sorry to hear how sick she was. Again, you have our love and our prayers. Your Tennessee cousins, Paul Edward and Bobbie Rush

  2. Richard,
I was stunned when I was told of Josie’s passing. Richard, my prayer is that you will be sustained by God’s grace, assured of His love, and supported and encouraged by those who know and love you.

  3. Today I bid my friend my final good bye…I may not see you again, but in my heart you will live forever. You have touched my heart in a very special way. Though we are thousands of miles away, somehow we stayed connected in so many different ways. I am hearing your calm voice over the phone, your creatives in your blogs, your laughters in our chats… I will miss those…Good Bye my friend.. I love you!

  4. I am grateful that Josie and I continued our friendship after Kale and I moved to Texas. When traveling back to southern California, we would always plan a visit with Josie. I’ll always remember her as a positive role model and a supportive friend.

  5. Although our paths never crossed here on earth, I am looking forward to seeing Josie in Heaven. May God bless you all with His comfort and strength.
