  1. I will always remember Joe as the man who loved to have people over ( the more the merrier) He loved entertaining and always made you feel welcomed. He was always great to me and always forgave my shenanigans. I loved being at the house with the whole family, Aftershock parties beginning at 7 or so in the morning, Parties for regular occasions ( St. Patrick’s Day) or a party for no reason! The man made the best” cadillac” margaritas on the planet. I came from a small family so Joe including me into his already huge brood meant a lot to me. I loved Joe like a father and I think he knew it. I loved his Easter Mush and just hanging around with him in the hot tub chatting about all the stars in the sky and how we couldn’t be the only ones. He was a good father and provider and has all of his children to exemplify that. I am selfish, but I wish it was 1992 and we were all together waiting for the grill to get to just the right temperature for a big brisket to be cooked on it. I only have happy and joyous memories when it comes to Joe, and I know I’ll never know another man like him. Wishing you all strength during this hard time because that is exactly what he’d want you to do. Be strong and continue being the children who made him so proud, As for Pattie, it goes without saying that my heart is with you, and I love you. You will make it through this, I am just sorry that you have to do it.
