  1. Well old man, our journey together has come to an end. I know in my heart you are better off now, but even knowing that will never ease the pain, or emptiness, your absence causes. Even though I rarely ever called you Dad!, that is what you truly were to me. You taught me so much, and never gave up on me. I joined the Navy because of you, and because of that I became a much better person, than I would have otherwise been. My life will never be the same without you, and I will never stop loving you. You were, and always will be my Father. So from one sailor to another, Rest your Oars Shipmate I have the watch. Fair Winds and Following seas!

  2. So sorry for your loss. condolences to all the family.

Love and miss you Dad. Will watch over Pattie. It’s a bit quieter in the house now without your kitchen activities and constantly changing the TV channels.
    Love from your #1 son…

I remember when I first met you I thought you were a little grumpy bear! But after seeing you everyday for a few months you turned out to be one of my favorite patients! You were so nice and funny! May you Rest In Peace…
