(Joseph) Jon Riggs, 52, was born April 20, 1959 in Wyoming and passed way November 27, 2011 at home in Laguna Niguel, CA, surrounded by family.

Jon graduated from Laguna Beach High School, class of 1977. He attended Lone Mountain College in San Francisco, he then moved on to performing for several years in the One Act Theatre in San Francisco. He later worked as an Art Director in the Entertainment Industry for over 20 years.

After turning thirty, Jon traveled to Europe to visit friends. During his return flight, he met his wife-to-be, a native of Brazil who became the love of his life. They were soon married and resided in Laguna Beach where his two daughters were born.

Jon was loved by many friends and loved his friends and family in return. He believed in quality of life. He was known for his laughter, his keen intellect and his huge heart. His dedication to his family and his spiritual life was an inspiration to hundreds of friends. He humbly led by example, touching and bettering hundreds of lives.

Jon is survived by his wife Monica; daughters Alena and Julia; mother Barbara Riggs Feher and sister Stephanie Riggs Silver.

Jon was an incredible man who touched so many lives. He will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel at St. Margaret of Scotland School, 31641 La Novia, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675.
