Born in Zara, Italy to Antonio Pagan and Ida Cettina Pagan, Joe received his early education at the Merchant Marines School in Brindisi. Giuseppe (Joseph) Pagan immigrated to America in 1951. He graduated from Lodi High School in New Jersey. Joe joined the United States Marines Corps and earned the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant. He was a member of the National Championship USMC Volleyball Team in 1969. He later served as a long-time manager at Woodbridge Village Association in Irvine, California. In retirement, he enjoyed spending summers in Long Island with family and fishing with his brothers. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marky Pagan, daughter Michelle Pagan Falkosky, former spouse Chum Pagan, brothers Antonio Pagan and Frank Pagan, step-daughters Stacee Stephan, Shelly Stephan, Sheryl Null, 6 grandchildren, and many friends who loved him dearly.
