Joe thank you for loving my best friend Colleen with all of your heart. You always treated her like a Queen, made her laugh and kept her safe. You were a kind and gracious Gentle Man who treated Pandy and I like family. So many memories over the years I will cherish. I know you’ve got my wife’s back up there in heaven now, please rest assured I’ve got your wife’s back down here until we all meet up again. See you then! With love, Lynne

Joe – the neighborhood will never be the same without you. I loved your smile, your wry sense of humor, and your kind gentle heart. You taught me by example to always be a kid at heart. Rest in peace my sweet friend. You will be so dearly missed but it’s nice knowing you’re up there waiting for us all.

Always cheerful and ready with a joke to make us laugh. I’ll keep that memory until we see each other again.

Joe was a “man’s man.” But he was always ready with a string of clean jokes and humor. He was keen to show up in a Halloween costume and light up the fun. I’ll al ways remember at my wedding when he leapt out of his chair when the DJ played “Soul Man”, plucked Colleen up and OWNED the dance floor. He was so kind, loving and generous of spirit. This lives on in my heart.

    Dear Joe,
I’ll never forget the first time I saw your truck and your license plate that said I’m a Texan. I thought, oh my gosh this is a sign, these are good people next-door. Once we met you and Colleen, you more than exceeded our expectations of a good neighbor. You were a friend, a caring person and always fun to talk to. I will miss going on bike rides with you. I will miss you!
We promise to take care of Colleen. I look forward to seeing you one fine day again. Thank you for your friendship and love. God bless you and rest in peace, Joe.
