Joseph William Kane, of Mission Viejo
Born on May 30, 1912 Cicero IL. passed on Sept. 27, 2007.
Son of Joseph D. and Mary Anna Kraft.

A retired construction inspector for the City of Long Beach. Owner of Harry's cafe in San Pedro in the 1940's. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by wife Doris, son Thomas, daughter-in-law Patricia and granddaughter Corrine. Step children, Elaine, Barbara and Jim. 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Joe was preceded by former wife Louise Ogden who died 1988 and son Bob.

Joe brought joy and laughter to many paths he crossed over the years with his stories and jokes. He will be missed by many friends and loved ones. Joe was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church and he was an avid tennis player.

Visitation: O'Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Pkwy., Laguna Hills, 10/2 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Funeral service: St. Kilian Catholic Church, 26872 Estanciero Dr., Mission Viejo, 10/3 at 10:30 AM. Interment following: Ascension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Vitas Hospice.
