Joseph Bonafede, 86, of Chino Hills, CA passed away on August, 4, 2018 from kidney failure.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Antoinette Bonafede and sister Agatha Carciapollo. He is survived by brother, Russell Bonafede; daughters Josepha Bonafede and Annalisa Gilmartin; son Joseph Bonafede and grandchildren Nick, Alec and Mia Gilmartin.

He grew up in Brooklyn, NY before joining the Navy on a diplomatic tour throughout Europe and Africa. Upon his return to the United States, he made the journey out west seeking a singing career in California. Settling down after meeting wife Anita DiGuiseppi, Joe started an Italian restaurant chain in Chino Hills. Always in a lighthearted and joking mood, Joe will be missed by all that knew him.

He will be laid to rest in Culver City, CA at Holy Cross Cemetery with his wife on 8/11/2018 and services will take place at the Holy Redeemer Chapel.
