With great sorrow and heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved brother Joselito Garvilles Tacloban April 17, 2025.  Joselito “Joe” was born on April 6, 1971 on the island of Guam.  He was a Marketing Data Analyst, formerly with KB Homes and Taco Bell Corporation.  He never married but had two sweet Yorkshire terriers whom he loved, Arya and Katya.  He enjoyed working on everything Apple, from IPhones, to Apple watches and his MacBook.  He was a doting uncle, who helped raise three nephews and a niece.  On the weekends, he served as a eucharistic minister at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Aliso Viejo.  He was a quiet person who was always kind and compassionate to all whom he met.  He always did for others, and rarely ever asked for anything in return.  He never complained and was there to lend a helping hand. He was a caregiver to both our parents, Jose and Terry until God called them home.  He was such a grateful person.  And he was an even better loving friend and brother.

Joe was pre-deceased by parents Jose Tacloban and Teresita Garvilles, and his paternal uncle Juanito and aunt Rosalina Tacloban – as well as cousins Rose Anelene (Cedric) Villegas and uncle Sixto Garvilles Jr.  He is survived by his three siblings; brothers Alberto (Geralyn) Tacloban – children Ashley & Aaron and Robert (Lysandra) Tacloban – step-daughter Brittany and sister Jenivy (Florante Jr) Escobar – children Kyle (RIP), Kobe & Kloe.  He will be fondly remembered by his paternal cousin Ma Nelia Tacloban, cousin Jezrel Tacloban and nephew Christian Villegas, aunt Maria Luz (Johnny RIP) Alba – cousin Jane Marie (Ivan) Villespin – children Carmelie (Ronald) Macapagal, Johann & Krisha, cousin Christine (Joseph) KuanKen – children Jyska & John, and aunt Maria Fe (Benjamin) Lorenzo – cousin Laarni – children Aidan & Ayla, aunt Inocencia (Bobby RIP) Singson – cousin Therese (Sean) Harris & baby Olivia, and cousin Martin Singson.  On our maternal side, he will be missed by aunt Erlinda (Tony RIP) General – cousin Erwin – children Alyssa & Justin, cousin Roland (Sharrina) General – children Reesha, Aysha & RJ, cousins Arnold and Julius, uncle Jose (Sue RIP) Garvilles – cousins Titus & Psalm, aunt Perla (Lorenzo) Navarro, aunt Lorna (Resty) Segismundo – cousin Joshua, aunt Dorothy (Gavino) Aguilar – cousins Hannah, Rebekah & Carla (Joel) Kanda, aunt Nelly Garvilles – cousin Iris (Tony) Nguyen – children Jordan, Selene & Conner, cousin Irene (Duc) Do – child Brandon and cousin Sixto III – children Tobey & Ethan.
