Josefina Lozano was born on June 20, 1933, in the town of Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico, to loving parents Rafael Camarena and Soledad Cortez- Camarena. Josefina is lovingly remembered by her children, Arcelia, Victor, David and Daniel, and by her grandchildren — Allison, Jessica, Shannon, Viktor, Donata, David, Monique, Daniel, Areanna and Breanna, as well as her 12 great grandchildren.

One of her most treasured memories was meeting Pascual Lozano at a local bakery in Tijuana where their story began. The love between them was immediate and remained with them throughout their lives, until their parting day.

After meeting, they moved to the United States, where they built a beautiful life and family together. Josefina and Pascual shared a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to their family. Josefina was dedicated not only to her husband and children but to her entire family, caring deeply for each and every one of them. Her love was shown through her actions, whether it was nurturing those who were ill, offering steady care in times of need, or ensuring her family was always looked after. She was someone who worked tirelessly to support her family and ensure their dreams came true, and they did.

Josefina cherished every moment with Pascual, and together they looked forward each year to their annual trip to Mazatlán, a place they both loved and returned to joyfully, year after year. That same light she shared on those journeys touched all who knew her, who were truly blessed to have her in their lives. Her unwavering devotion and selfless spirit continue to inspire those she loved. We will forever feel blessed to have shared life with her.
