Jose E. Tiznado Bahena passed away at the age of 27, on July 4, 2023. His death was sudden.

A service to honor Jose's (Sequoia's) life will be held at O'Connor Mortuary, Laguna Hills from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday, July 12 ^th , 2023.

"Some people knew him as Jose, yet the ones closest to him knew him as Lalo, as Jay, or Sequoia (all aspects of who he is and emanated so well).

You could not enter a room without feeling his presence. He could light up a room, his smile was so contagious, and his laughter would leave you beaming from the inside out.

He was someone that could really see people. He cared deeply for everyone that crossed his paths. And he did not judge what walk of life they came from. He was loving to everyone.

He was someone that brought people together. So skilled at it as well, connecting people together that would thrive and impact one another.

He was so generous, he always put other people first. He left places better than how he found them. Always wanting to give back. He would always say there is always enough, no matter how little he had he always had something to give.

He was a guide for many people in their darkest moments, he saw people in their light no matter where they were in life. He supported many and was loved by so so many.

He cared deeply about this earth wanting to make an impact the best way he could. He contributed in so many ways, to this planet, to the animals, and to the people that walk this earth.

He was a reminder to take risks, be silly, laugh at life, explore and adventure.

Sequoia : For a sequoia tree to spread its seed, it needs fire. When the fire comes it heats the pinecone enough to release the seed. So beautifully designed the Sequoia's bark are fire resistant, allowing the fire to pass through. Once the seeds drop, they plant in the ground and the roots staying shallow to the earth's surface expand out for miles in search for water. They grow and sprout so fast at their tallest expectancy withing their first 100 years. Then when they have reached their peak the winds come and the tops that are exposed to the wind break off from that moment the Sequoias begin to expand in size growing wider and wider. Because these trees are so massive and their roots are so shallow, they rely on other trees to support it, the other trees help take the pressure of the wind. Without the other trees they wouldn't survive.

In 2020, this is when "Sequoia" became so close to these trees. Having the opportunity to plant over 80 trees together. This experience opened him up to the teachings of a Sequoia Tree, to see his own reflection of the Sequoia Tree, to really see himself.

Jose, "Sequoia" embodies that name very beautifully. He had been through so much in his life and transmuted it all into wisdom. Choosing to learn lessons from life to always grow and do the best he could. He used that knowledge and experience to help all of those that he encountered. He was so supported by others, and his community meant the world to him. It is what gave him the strength to live life.

He impacted so many people's lives. His ripple effect will continue to live on.

José E. Tiznado Bahena falleció a la edad de 27 años, el 4 de julio de 2023. Su muerte fue repentina.

Un sevicio para honrar la vida de Jose, "Sequoia" se llevara a cabo en O'Connor Mortuary, Laguna Hills de 7pm to 9pm el Miercoles, 12 de Julio, 2023.

Algunas personas lo conocían como José, sin embargo, los más cercanos a él lo conocían como Lalo, como Jay o "Sequoia"(todos los aspectos de quién era y emanaba tan bien).

No podías entrar en un cuarto sin sentir su presencia. Podía iluminar una cuarto, su sonrisa era tan contagiosa y su risa tedejaba radiante de adentro hacia afuera.

Era alguien que realmente podía ver a la gente. Se preocupaba profundamente por todos los que se cruzaban en su camino. Yno juzgaba de qué estilo de vida provenían. Era amoroso con todos.

Era alguien que unía a las personas. Era tan hábil en eso también, conectando a personas que prosperarían e impactarían entresí.

Era tan generoso que siempre ponía a otras personas primero. Dejaba lugares mejores de lo que los encontraba. Siemprequeriendo retribuir. Siempre decía que siempre hay suficiente, no importaba lo poco que el tuviera, siempre tenía algo que dar.

Fue una guía para muchas personas en sus momentos más oscuros, veia a las personas en su luz sin importar dónde estuvieranen la vida. Apoyó a muchos y fue amado por muchos.

Le importaba profundamente esta tierra, queriendo tener un impacto de la mejor manera que le fuera posible. Él contribuyó demuchas maneras, a este planeta, a los animales y a las personas que caminan por esta tierra.

El era un recordatorio para tomar riesgos, ser bromista, relajado, paciente, reírse de la vida, explorar y aventurarse.

Secuoyas : Para que una secuoya extienda su semilla, necesita fuego. Cuando llega el fuego, calienta la piña lo suficientecomo para liberar la semilla. Tan bellamente diseñada, la corteza de Sequoia es resistente al fuego, lo que permite que elfuego pase a través. Una vez que las semillas caen, se plantan en el suelo y las raíces que permanecen poco profundas en la superficie de la tierra se expanden por millas en busca de agua. Crecen y brotan tan rápido en su expectativa más altadentro de sus primeros 100 años. Luego, cuando han alcanzado su punto máximo, llegan los vientos y las cimas que estánexpuestas al viento se rompen, y a partir de ese momento, las secuoyas comienzan a expandirse en tamaño cada vez másanchas. Debido a que estos árboles son tan masivos y sus raíces son tan poco profundas, dependen de otros árboles parasostenerlo, los otros árboles ayudan a soportar la presión del viento. Sin los otros árboles no sobreviven.

En 2020, es cuando Jose, "Sequoia" se acercó tanto a estos árboles. Y tuvo la oportunidad de plantar más de 80 árboles juntos.Esta experiencia lo abrió a las enseñanzas de un árbol de secuoyas, para ver su propio reflejo en estos árboles de secuoyas. Pararealmente verse a sí mismo.

El, "Sequoia" encarna ese nombre muy bellamente. Había pasado por muchas cosas en su vida y lo transmitaba todo en sabiduría. Eligiendo aprender lecciones de la vida para crecer siempre y hacer lo mejor que podia. Usó ese conocimiento yexperiencia para ayudar a todos los que encontró. Fue apoyado por otros, y su comunidad significaba el mundo para él. Era lo que le dava la fuerza para vivir la vida.

El impactó la vida de tantas personas. Su efecto dominó continuará viviendo.
