  1. Papi was such a special man. He was always full of joy, laughter, and life. He always had a smile on his face. In 2013 I was hospitalized and lived in lake forest with my mom, Janice and Dad, Juan who was Papi’S son. Papi came to visit and check on me every single morning to make sure I was alright and see if there was anything he could bring me. He made me feel like part of the family. He made me feel like his grand daughter. He would make me laugh through my pain and smile when all I wanted to do was cry. He always told me I was beautiful. He didn’t have to do any of those things but I am so grateful he did. It meant the world to me when I felt so alone that someone cared so much about me. I will miss him dearly. I always looked forward to seeing him and cooking for him. I always looked forward to his jokes. There will always be something missing now when I go back home. I love you Papi. I will never forget your kindness or your spirit. Thank you for all the beautiful memories. Look down on me from heaven and visit when you can. I know you will be making all the other angels smile and laugh now.

I thought it was going to be difficult to write a tribute to Jorge E. Camacho as he was more than a neighbor and friend. The Bells consider him family. This picture of him embodies his kind and gentle spirit. It also brings memories of one New Years Eve party at the Camacho family home with great music, food and dancing. Jorge ask my husband to have me try ” a special drink “. Janice explain afterwards the side effects of the “special drink” . That innocent kind face is what I will always remember. -Terri Bell

May God continues to Bless your family.

I remember some of the Camacho family parties with the dancing and ” agua diente”. I also remember Jorge’s favorite way to wake up the family in the morning was with VERY LOUD ‘ classical music. That was his way of being a funny guy. Jorge was a wonderful father and friend to many. God Bless You Jorge
