   I had not seen John since the early 90’s; unfortunately we had not kept in touch much after High School. He will always be remembered by me as a fantastic guy with a big heart, someone who treated you like he was your best friend no matter who you were. The world is better for having had John as a part of it, and he will be missed. I’ll always remember him, and may he be at peace…

   As i sit here over my computer writing and rewriting a memorial to you, so many emotions overwhelm me…happiness to have had the pleasure of knowing you, sadness to have lost you, confusion as to why you were taken from us so soon,and regret to have not looked harder for you. You were such a significant person in my life and I will never forget all the fun, crazy, love/hate moments we had throughout the years. You were a sparkle in my life and will continue to be forever. You will forever be missed and will always “take my breath away”.
