On May 21, 2004 our beloved 34-year old son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, John Richard Phillips, Jr. passed away.
John grew up in Lake Forest, California and spent the last two years working and traveling as a systems engineer for Infogenesis. John's love of nature and his insatiable appetite for the human experience enabled him to touch people's lives from the far reaches of the Russian continent to the deep blue of Bermuda.
John is survived by his adoring family including his mother Mary Pitman, his stepfather Steve Pitman, his sisters La Donna, Stephanie, Heather, Nicole, Mari, his brother Todd, eleven nieces and nephews one on the way, three uncles and a circle of friends that spans the globe.
John's booming voice and infectious laugh will ring throughout our hearts and lives forever. He will be sorely missed and always remembered.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2004 at 11:00 AM at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in San Juan Capistrano. There will be a visitation Friday evening May 28 from 6 ? 9 PM at O?Connor Laguna Hills Mortuary. A reception will follow the burial on Saturday at the Pitman home in Lake Forest.
