I worked with John for the last 8 years. He drove for the Honda dealership and I drive for the VW dealership next door. Got to admit, I’ve shed a few tears thinking about how close we became over those 8 years. Going to miss you ole’ buddy. My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends.

    Dear Cindy, John & Erin,
Words cannot express how sad we are at losing our dear friend John. It’s hard to put all the words on paper but for the past 30+ years, just talking to him put a smile on our faces. He was the most consistent and supportive friend that anyone could possible have and it is hard to believe that we won’t get to listen to all of his wonderful stories about life any longer. We feel fortunate that Barb & Jill got to spend some fun time with him last Friday and he will be in our thoughts forever. We are sending hugs to all of you and our thoughts and prayers hope to give you strength. Love,
    Barb, Bob & Jill

    Cindy John and Erin,

I am sitting here just shaking my head and wondering how to even begin to express the loss Mel and I feel. John , to me was like an Uncle. We shared as familes, good times, bad times, serious times and A LOT of funny times. I know for me, I won’t look at a bottle of ketchup without chuckling, see anything about Notre Dame withouth smiling and thinking about John, or seeing how and umpire made a call in a baseball game, that John would have done that better. The joy the whole Clune family has given our family is a testimonial for the type of lessons taught by this good friend. Somtimes John never had to say anything and you knew what he was thinking. I attached a picture from my wedding a few years ago that I’ve really enjoyed. I’ll miss those pats on the back. Melanie and I want you to know that we are here for the three of you if you need anything.

    Love you,
    Todd & Melanie
