John Michael May was born September 6, 1953 in Lackawanna, New York and passed away September 14, 2018 at home in Irvine, California.  He was 65 years old.

John earned his Bachelor's Degree from Buffalo State College and then worked as a Field Service Representative with Southern California Edison for 42 years.

John is survived by his loving wife Somjit "Joy" Boonses; son Jirayut "Jay" Orkphol; daughter Pornchanok "Kat" Orkphol; brother Ronald May and his wife Nancy; sister Joan May; sister Marjorie Mantione and her husband Andrew; nephews Kenneth and Jeffrey May; niece Melissa Mantione; nephew Andreas Mantione and great-niece Renee May.

John was preceded in death by his parents Francis John and Natalie Ann May and his niece Renee May.
