Obituary
John M. Humes, a longtime resident of Mission Viejo, CA passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Ann; his children, Jackie Parkinson, Lori LeRoy, Bill Humes; and 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 1st at O’Connor Laguna Hills Chapel at 25301 Alicia Parkway at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
His kindness, integrity and love of his family will live on in our hearts and never be forgotten.

Living so far away for the 60 some years John was in our family, I was only with him a few times, but when i was he was always a gentleman and very nice and fun to be with. I know he will be deeply missed by all of his family especially by his loving wife “Aunt Toots” who will miss him the most. My prayers will be with him. Steve and Cartha Washko

I have so many happy memories of holidays spent together with both of our families. I remember lots of laughter and warmth and will carry that with me forever. John was always kind and listened to me even when I was very young. He had a deep chuckle and a sparkle in his eyes when he was amused. I know that you will all miss him so very much and I am so sorry for your loss.
