John Lee Lacefield entered into eternal life with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, March 23, 2011. He was born April 13, 1960 in Newport Beach, California. John was raised in Orange County and graduated from Estancia High School in Costa Mesa in 1978. John was a carpet & tile specialist with a successful business for many years in and around the Orange County area. John and his fiancé Mary Dutcher were to be married September 24, 2011. John had a passion for the ocean and cherished beautiful sunsets. He loved extreme sports and, any opportunity John could get, he jet-skied, rode dirt bikes, skydived and snowboarded. A little boy at heart, John loved his Hot Wheels cars and remote control helicopters and airplanes. John will always be remembered for his unique sense of humor, charisma and compassion for others. John is preceded in death by his father Jack, two brothers Wayne and Gene and his son Justin. John is survived by his mother Edna, daughter Sarah, fiancé Mary, brother Dale and many close friends. John Lee Lacefield’s Memorial Celebration will be held at 1pm on April 13, 2011 at Baby Beach, Dana Point, California. Ashes will be scattered in the ocean off of Dana Point Harbor.
