You are the greatest father a family could ever have. Your smile at just being a father to Michele, Jackie and an adoring husband to your beloved Arilita truly reflects what an Angel your are. I have had the privilege to have met you. You and your family have embraced me as part of the Barnes family. I will forever cherish. Now you have gone to a better place. We shall pray to be in heaven with you along with all the Angels above. All our love. Rehana Baluch and family

Uncle Jack and Aunt Arlita invited me to stay with them many summer vacations and they were always so kind and loving. I will always remember Uncle Jack’s smile, laugh and honesty. My only regret is I didn’t get to CA in time for one more visit. Love and sympathy to aunt Arlita, Michele and Jacqueline. Xoxo

Condolences to the entire Barnes family.
Shirley always thought of her big brother as a hero. Serving at Chosin Reservoir, then on a sub, then Danbury Priison during that fire, and working Con-Air. He must have seen it all, but was modestly quiet such things.
I thought of him as a Hero too.
Sincerely, Roger Kershaw
