  1. Dear Yvette, Johnny, Emile, Michael and Marwan,

It is with deep sorrow and regret that we receive the sad news!

John was not only a partner; he was a very close friend and a loving brother to each and everyone of us in the Idriss family.

We loved him and enjoyed every single moment we spent with him.

He was a teacher and adviser to each and everyone of us, and it is very hard to imagine he has left us for good.

We saw him deteriorating in this last year, and we heard how much he has endured in his last days, but despite his agony, he has always kept a smiley face and a cheerful spirit.

No matter how much we loved him and how much we wanted him to stay among us, we have to abide to God’s will.

In these awkward moments, we can only pray thoroughly for him.

May Almighty God rest his soul in peace, and give you all the strength to overcome this ordeal.

Please accept our heartfelt sympathies and condolences.

    God bless you all!

  2. It is always hard to say goodbye to a dear person, yet it becomes a little harder when thousands of miles separate you and precludes you from casting a final look at this person. However, we are fortunate with our Christian beliefs that we can unite in a final goodbye through the union of prayers. Eileen and I have a fond memory of John which we will keep with us, particularly for his sense of humor and nice comportment. Our sincere condolences to Yvette, Johnny, Nayla, Emilio, Michael,Marwan, Tala and the entire Manneh family. May his soul rest in peace.
