John C. "Jack" Carney, Sr. was born March14, 1922 in St. Louis, Mo and raised in Cedar Rapids, IA. He died on April 13, 2013.

He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and obtained the rank of Staff Sgt.

Jack is survived by his wife, Virginia; his son John and daughters Christine, Kathleen and Kelly; his stepchildren Brian and Patricia; and 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass at 10am, Monday, April 22 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Laguna Niguel, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City.
