Obituary
Jocelyn Nicole McKnight was born July 28, 2010. On Monday April 22, 2024 she had a seizure and God decided to end her suffering and take her home. She is survived by her parents Matt and Ashley, and her siblings Makenzie and Jaden.
As well as her large extended family. Jocelyn was in 8th grade and attended Newhart Middle School. She had a heart of gold, nonstop energy and a contagious laugh. She loved dressing up as Elsa and singing “Let it Go” for friends and family. She loved shopping and collecting Disney Doorables and Slime. She also enjoyed playing card and board games. She was a true master of Memory game. We loved taking her on trips, especially Disneyland. Occasionally she would go on rides, but her favorite thing to do was meet all the characters!
She is no longer in pain, and will be our guardian Angel.
We will be celebrating her life on May 7, 2024.
Mass will be begin at 10:30 am at St. Kilian Catholic Church
26872 Estanciero, Dr Mission Viejo (The family is requesting everyone wear colors)
Interment will be at 12:30 pm at El Toro Memorial Park
25751 Trabuco Rd, Lake Forest
Her beautiful smile and sparkle will forever remain in our hearts.

I miss Jocelyn so much and am so sorry for your loss. She has taught me so much about life and love while she was in my class and we are heartbroken she isn’t with us anymore. She made an impact at Newhart and she will forever have a place in our hearts. As one of her classmates said “The whole Earth will miss her”
-Love you Joce,

My deepest, heartfelt condolence for your loss but heaven’s gain. I adored Jocelyn’s contagious, pure joy. When I spent time with her at Newhart one of her favorite things was to play hide and seek together. Jocelyn was a shooting star and a unique wildflower. I pray for you to know comfort and peace and the assurance that Jocelyn is where there is no more pain or sorrow.
