Obituary
Polenske, Joanne Carol
Born in Milwaukee, WI on January 1, 1940 to William and Dorothy Vojtik. She peacefully passed on to eternity October 6, 2008 at her home in Mission Viejo, CA.
Joanne is survived by her husband Arvin Ski, children Sandy Gerard Luckett of Rancho Santa Margarita and Steve Shawnene of Trabuco Canyon, grandchildren Brennen, Mitchell, Griffin and Jarrett, sister Joyce Kenneth Tucek of Milwaukee, WI as well as her extended family, neighbors, special friends including members from Lutheran Church of the Cross, Laguna Hills.
Joanne moved to California with her family in 1973 where she made a loving home for her family. Her faith was evident in the way she lived her life. Her quiet strength, positive attitude and gentle manner was an example for all who knew her. Attending Bible class with Brennen, Mitch and Jarrett and special cuddles with Griffin were highlights of her week.
A celebration of life and memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th, 4pm at O’Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills. www.oconnormortuary.com
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made in Joanne’s name to the American Cancer Society.

Mom I am going to miss you so much. I want to thank you for making my life better and forever being there for me. Griff is going to miss his Grandma and the special love that you gave to him. We both will miss you very much. Say hello to my mother for me and I know between the two of you, Griff will never have to worry because he now has two guardian angels looking over him.

Holy Spirit comfort each family member give them peace. I thank GOD for giving me an oppertunity to be part of Jo’s family and to know and love her. She will be greatly missed. We thank God for giving us the pleasure of knowing Jo. We know that there is a time and season for all things, and all things are done in God’s divine order. To the Polenske/Luckett family. We loved Jo and will miss her. On behalf on the Luckett Family-Merrick,Vincent/Marie,Sandra,Sanoria,Kenny,Niko,Marzie we thank you for your special love that you have given us.We rest assure knowing that she is now resting in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father.

Arvin and family: Both of us are truly sorry to hear of Joanne’s death; however, we know she is at peace with God. Truly, the heavens are smiling while those on earth are shedding tears.
