Joan passed away peacefully January 12 ^th 2024 at the age of 98.  She grew up in Ft. Wayne Indiana where she met her husband Ernest and had three children.  The family eventually moved to Long Beach California where they were longtime residents.  Joan was a homemaker and worked as a secretary for Douglas Aircraft until she retired.  Joan loved raising her family, hosting holiday parties, playing Bridge with friends and loved to travel to many destinations around the World.

She is survived by her son Steve (Misty) and her grandchildren Mathew, Laura, Peter, Tabetha and Linden along with ten great grandchildren.  Joan was pre-deceased by her husband Ernest, daughter Katherine, son Patrick and granddaughter Ellen.

She will always be remembered for being a loving wife and mother, always having a kind heart with a friendly spirit.  She is now at rest with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, may she Rest in Peace.

Services to be held at 10am on Friday February 23 ^rd at O’Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills.
