Jessie Mary ‘June’ Pollock, a long-time resident of the Lake Forest area, died Monday the 28th of September at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center.

In 1958 June emigrated to the United States with her husband and infant son, and continued her work as a nurse at Henry Ford Hospital, Michigan. June lived the rest of her life in the same home they started out in.
Her nursing career spanned five decades and included service at Western Medical Center Santa Ana, Mission Hospital and San Clemente Hospital. Her nursing career was followed by years of community service. In 1974 she opened and operated June’s Uniforms in Mission Viejo where she worked until her retirement in 1998.
June loved travel, good food and socializing, enjoyed going to movies and events. She had a sharp mind, quick wit and sense of humor that made everyone laugh, Though sometimes difficult and challenging, she had a fantastic journey through life.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Pollock and many relatives and friends, all who miss her dearly.
