  1. Jerry was a very special person for so many reasons. The chili cookoffs will never be the same. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

  2. Our condolences to Lillian, Shayna and Josh.
    If it wasn’t for Jerry, I would still be at Long Beach State and still trying to pass Computer 101. Many fond memories of water sking at Lake Nacimiento and speeding our way through Buttonwillow. Our best wishes in these difficult times.

  3. Jerry, May the sun always shine warmly upon you, may you always have fair skies and the wind at your back. Most of all, may you have your Best Friend’s hat on the bar. We’ll miss your BIG hearty laugh and quick wit. Be in peace forever now.

  4. Lilian, Shayna, and Josh;

    During my brief tenure at Tone in 1985, Jerry quickly became a life long friend. We shared many a meal together and numerous late night phone calls and emails.

    We will always hold our road trip with Jerry to Vegas to see the Kingston Trio as one of the most memorable of our experiences with Jerry.

    We want you to know that during our Vegas trip, he expressed how much he loved all of you and was so proud of your accomplishments.

    As Gary said, God now has a great programmer and we will all miss him.

    Our Thougths and Prayers are with you.

    As a young child, Jerry’s height and deep voice was intimidating to me. But then I matured and we had the best conversations together, about computers of course. This past Christmas, I turned 17 and I was able to enjoy Jerry’s wit and how he could always come up with an interesting story to tell. Jerry, I will miss your guidance and I know Shayna and Josh will too. I will continue to keep you and the family in my thoughts and prayers.
