Jerry always made sure that when I came to his house, that I was made to feel welcome.
He listened to whatever nonsense I had to spout at a young age, and never left me feeling like he thought I was wrongheaded, even when (in hindsight) I obviously was.

    You’ll be missed.

  2. Sherri says:

Jerry was a kind and soft spoken man, always concerned for others. He definitely had a lot of talents. We were lucky enough to be given one of his custom rocking horses that will be used for all the grandchildren in the years to come! He was a “giver” for sure and enjoyed making people smile. He will be missed and our thoughts and prayers are with Juda and the whole family.

    Much Love,
    The Fick Family

I’m remembering Jerry scattering arrowheads for our 5 year old sons, Will and Chris while camping together in Yellowstone National Park. Then sending them on fabulous adventures of scavenger hunts for the beautiful obsidian prizes.

Jerry was an amazing Man of God and shared his joy in Jesus at every moment we shared.

Another time we met him camping, he offered us communion in the mountain forest under the stars. It was after a terrible experience earlier in the week. The healing in that star strewn moment of holy communion has offered me healing throughout a life time.

I can envision Jerry laying his jewel encrusted crown at the feat of Jesus. I’m so looking forward to seeing him in heaven.

Jerry Carter is one of the absolute best human beings to ever walk this earth!!
