Obituary

Jennifer (Jenna) Savage Spinelli, age 30, of Costa Mesa went to heaven on Thursday, October 20, 2016. She was born in Plantation, Fl. and moved to Mission Viejo, Ca at the age of 4. She attended Carl Hankey Elementary, Newhart Middle School, and was a member of the first graduating class of Tesoro High School. She graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2008 with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Business Administration. She worked for a healthcare broker, The Centennial Group, for the past 7 years and her most recent position was Director of Client Services. She had a passion for her work, which in truth was a passion for the people she worked with and for. She was blessed with compassion, integrity, and amazing leadership skills which she used to serve her coworkers and clients.

Jenna’s friends and family remember her as an incredible wife, daughter, sister, friend, and colleague. Her warmth and enthusiasm were infectious and her generosity was noted by all. Jenna loved to bring joy to others and she never fell short of doing so. Her life was centered on her faith which she lived out in community and fellowship. She loved hosting her family and friends, cooking, shopping, playing with her dogs, exercising, and advocating for a healthy lifestyle. Jenna’s life was a shining example of love and grace. She will be greatly missed, but will live on in the hearts of those whose lives she touched forever.

Jenna is survived by her husband, Christopher Spinelli; parents, Ken and Teri Savage of Mission Viejo, Ca; brother, Matthew Savage and wife, Nikki Savage of Chandler, Az.; sister, Erica Savage Smythe and husband, Ben Smythe of Santa Rosa, Ca; nieces, Madison and Sierra Savage of Chandler, Az.; grandparents, Albert and Marion Savage of Nashua, NH and Mary Kay Stewart of Hollis, NH; aunts and uncles, Ron and Kathy Jean of Hollis, NH, Carl and Nancy Savage of Nashua, NH, and Kathy Savage of Weare, NH as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at Saddleback Church, 1 Saddleback Pkwy, Lake Forest, Ca 92630 on Saturday, October 29, at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saddleback Church in honor of Jennifer Lee Savage Spinelli.

  1. I have worked with Jennifer through Centennial for the last 6 years and she wasn’t only a resource for our benefits but more than that she was a friend. She was always so happy, kind, understanding, positive and always willing to go out of her way to help. She will be greatly missed. Praying for your family during this difficult time. Hugs.
