Jennie Barrio Quevedo passed to Eternal Life on November 27, 2010. Jennie was born on December 7, 1921 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Jennie moved to Los Angeles as a young woman with her mother and six brothers and sisters. Jennie met and married Manuel Quevedo, Jr., who predeceased Jennie in March 2005.

Manuel and Jennie resided most of their lives in San Bernardino. Jennie has been a resident of Orange County since 2004.

Jennie is survived by her son, Frank Quevedo of Palm Desert and daughter, Gloria Jean Diaz of Little Elm, Texas; six grandchildren, Frances Jett, Thomas Quevedo, Ynes Vance, Marc Paul Diaz, Dawn Diaz, Francesca Diaz, and eight great-grand children.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2010, at Holy Family Cathedral, 566 South Glassell Street, Orange, CA 92866, phone 714-639-2900.
