I am just wanting to extend my deepest sympathy on the passing of Jean.

She and Jim were very important people in my life, I have many fond memories of cocktail hours as a child(coke and peanuts) and then later a pre cocktail party for my 21st, flying kites with Jim and sitting on his lap while driving his truck to find the kites.
Jean was there to help when both my parents were sick and was there when my mom passed. They became like pseudo parents to me, nursing me when I was sick many times, tips when pregnant with my kids.
Dinners and holidays were always fun as well, Jeans bisquick peach cobbler was the best (that I still can’t figure the recipe too)
When I saw Jean 3 years ago when I was visiting Cali, I saw how much she missed Jim and said then she was ready to be with him, would mention when I would call periodically too, so in this sad time I am happy that she has been reunited with Jim for eternity and is at peace now that she is with the love of her life!
I will always have such fond memories of our neighborhood and the “Hinkson field” that we kids called it. I will always love them!

Jean (and Jim) have been friends since meeting her when I started at South Coast Hospital in 1972. I loved working with her and have enjoyed many visits and lunches since we left the hospital scene. She was a dear soul who always seemed to know who needed help. No one will ever take her place!
