Jean died peacefully at her home in Irvine, CA, with her loving husband, Vito, right by her side.  She was born in San Francisco, CA, where she attended parochial schools, St Michael's and Mercy High School, an all-girls Catholic school. She eventually met her husband of 52 years at a dinner dance sponsored by the Sons of Italy Club.  They began their lives as a young couple in San Bruno, CA, and lived there until 1981.  At that point, they moved to Irvine, CA, but a part of her heart will always be in San Francisco.  Jean and Vito have both lived in Irvine for the past 37 years.

Although Jean worked for several years as a secretary in different positions, she was most proud of her role as a homemaker.  She was relatively quiet and reserved, but she had a good sense of Irish humor with a huge heart that showered love and kindness. She will be most remembered for her gentle sweetness, kind demeanor and memorable smile.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and being at home with her poodle, Pumpkin.  She was grateful for the time she spent with her loving granddaughter, Madeline, and cherished their visits together.  The holiday she enjoyed the most was her birthday, celebrated annually on October 16 ^th .

Jean is survived by her husband, Vito, her son, Troy (Michelle) Liddi and her grandchild, Madeline Liddi.

Visitation will be held on Sun., Sep 16, 2018, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, at O'Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA, 92653, with a vigil service at 5:00 pm in the Chapel.  Funeral services will be held on Mon., Sep 17, 2018 at 10:00 am, St Thomas More Catholic Church, 51 Marketplace, Irvine, CA, 92602, followed by reception in the parish hall.
