    Jean will always be in my heart. Unfortunately I didn’t have daily, weekly or even yearly contact w/her but she did touch my life through the Joyful Life Retreats. Jean made me feel welcome and inspired me to keep living a Christ centered life. She was always looking out for someone else when you knew she was suffering herself. I love you Jean.

    My deepest condolences to Sam and the family. Jean was a loving, giving person and a precious friend. To see the Lord use Jean in so many lives throughout the years, was a blessing. I will miss her greatly, but I know she is now with Jesus, she heard the words well done good and faithful servant. And I will see her again.

  3. My heartfelt condolences go out to Jean’s family – how greatly she touched me with her warmth, love, and joy in the Lord. I always remember her beautiful countenance for she had Jesus within her and radiating to those around her. I will see her again — that is the hope of every Believer of her wonderful Savior, Jesus. Her radiance will remain in my heart.
    Blessed memories remain – she loved Him, His Word, and His children

    Dear Sam & Family;
    I am so very sorry, and at the same time full of “joy” that Jean has passed over to the other side. She used to say, when some one we knew from Bible Study joureyed on…”Miss me, but let me go”!
    * We were “Rider’s on the wind” together. Only she would understand.
    Warmest Regards,

    When my mother died in 1996, I had met Jean at a retreat, praying for her as she was coughing. “prayer warrior”I called myself.I had looked for her later and could not find her. To my great surprise, we were in the same Joyful Life group with Jody Braham.We were so happy to see each other, she became my Mama-Jean,instantly! therefore the Mama group was developed! My Titus 2 women who would guide me in God’s wisdom. With tea time luncheons and B’day get-to-gethers. I was her precious little Lamb of God, and our friendship became more, a true family, as now Sam, became a “Papa”also! When Jim,my husband would travel for work, I would be invited over for a dinner, or bring it, with dessert, and movie after. She loved the lemon pudding I would special order from Canada,and or brownies with lots of walnuts, her favorite from childhood! Her memories were vivid and detailed! She was Giving, Generous, Loving, and Never lost an opportunities to share the Gospel of Grace, with her “Love, Joy, and Peace’ checks” Though I know she’s in Heaven with her savior Jesus Christ, I will Miss her Greatly!!! She was my Precious Spiritual Mama, and until I see her in heaven, I will be deeply saddened! Our prayers are now with Papa Sam, as he loved her so much and took Great care of her, though he needed the care himself! While on earth I will miss you so much Mama-Jean!Your Joy, Laughter, and Loving Care! I Love You my Precious Lamb of God!!! Your daughter in Christ, Karen and son Jim <><
