  1. Judie was a wonderful classmate at MCHS. She was ALWAYS friendly and very intelligent and ended up as our valedictorian before enrolling in MSU for their veterinary program. I had enjoyed a lovely conversation shortly before our 50th class reunion was to be held and she indicated that her intent was to attend it. I was sorry to hear, from her son, that she was ill and in the hospital. She was unable to attend our event and was missed. We did manage to have a card for her and signed by those who attended the reunion. Heaven has gained a wonderful person to look over all the animals who have come before her and for those who will come after her. Thankfully, she is at peace and will suffer no more discomfort or pain.
    Sincerely,
    Maureen Quinn Turner

I only met JC a couple of times as a representative of the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine. Although she was always soft spoken, I could tell she had a strong spirit and an unrelenting passion for MSU. The CVM is grateful for all of her support and will miss her greatly.

My fellow Feburary 4th girl. We meet at Curves and shall never stop there, our anywhere.I was a very lucky woman to have had a deep connection with JC that I will never be able to explain. I have had many dreams about my friend and know that the time we spent in the hospital will always live in my dreams. They were not me talking her writing that were of dispair, yet only of hope of the spirit. She is truly my gardian angel, that I know I’m not worthy, I shall try to do a small part to make such a grand person be seen in a little part of me. I LOVE YOU JC!

  4. What a wonderful person. She had a million dollar smile and a heart of gold. I am privileged to have known her. Curves will never be the same without her enthusiasm and love of others.

Till we meet again, Linda Campbell

  5. I am truly sorry to find about the loss of Dr. Haefner. I was fortunate enough to meet her 16 years ago when starting a dog & cat rescue in Orange County. If it wasn’t for Dr. Haefner’s Animal Medical Clinic our rescue organization would not have survived, as I am sure many other groups would not have either. She was one of the biggest supporters and contributors to the rescue community we have ever had in Southern California. God Bless her and God Bless her family and friends. The world was a better place with her in it.
