  1. Jc was and still is such as inspiration. Her kindness for so many and the ways she showed her love are amazing. She was there for so many people when when they had nothing to count on. My life is forever enriched by our friendship and I hope others are fortunate to share in such a relationship.
Love you JC and miss you so much!

  2. Steven, Jim, Family, and Friends, you have my deepest sympathy! It is difficult to convey how much JC meant to so many. She was just a special person with a huge kind and generous heart. I know how much JC loved Michigan State University; so I have changed the words of the MSU Fight Song to honor her:

On the edge of Mile Square Park
Lived a Veterinarian known to all,
    Her speciality was kindness
    And JC loved Spartan ball!

She was loving, sharing, and generous,
Steve and Jim were her treasured sons,
    Curves, animals, especially felines…
    To her were number ONE!

    Football, Basketball, green and white,
    MSU’s Izzo and Dantonio
Scholarship funds were bound to win
JC was working through the night.

    Purr, Purr, Purr

Golf tourney, silent auctions, mulligans, and tropies,
She’d see that it was done right!
Thanks, JC, YOU ARE THE BEST!
You’ve earned your ANGEL WINGS; now take flight!

  4. We will always remember her kind, gentle smile and her absolute, unconditional love. Knowing her has made our lives richer and we are grateful for the times that our family was able to share with her. Her impact will last a lifetime, and she will be thought of often – with lots of smiles. She will remain in our hearts forever.

  5. I remember the first time I met JC it was at AMC, I was being introduced to the staff. I was walking past the surgery sweet and saw her. She was a very tiny lady with a wonderful smile. I didn’t know it at the time but this was a woman with an incredible heart and warm soul. I appreciated her compassion and generosity to others. She is the only person I have ever known to open her home to complete strangers, trust them, cook for them and never let them clean up! I never really understood that, sheesh, she would really get up set if you tried to help cleanup. I also loved to be around her during March Madness. Lewie and I once went to her her house to watch the tournament he was cheering for WSU and JC for MSU, great times I tell you great times. She was such a sports buff,I never thought a woman could be so interested in sports, I was and always will be truly inspired, in your honor JC Go Spartans Go State! For all who knew her you are greatly blessed and for those who missed your chance I am truly sorry. To her family and her boys she spoke so highly of you all and loved you so much. I have two boys just like her and I remember her telling me how much fun it will be and she was right.
I can’t believe she isn’t here with us anymore, but she will always remain in our hearts and JC you will be truly missed. Lewie,I and the boys love you so very much. Go and be in peace.
