JaNeen Marie Hoffman 9-14-1933 – 1-8-2020

JaNeen passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of January 8, 2020 at the age of 86.  JaNeen was born September 14, 1933 in Los Angeles.

She is survived by her son Martin Hoffman, daughter-in-law Santhi and grandson Timothy; her two brothers, Jack and Kent Schafer; two nieces, Judy and Cindy; and nephew Mark Schafer.

JaNeen had a long extensive (48 years) career in the airline industry.  She was an FAA certified flight instructor for In Flight Services, Emergencies, etc. She taught at several colleges.  JaNeen first started at Western Airlines, a lifelong dream she attained and excelled at.

Her early life was in Hermosa Beach, a surf community where she had many friends and enjoyed the beach lifestyle from a young age.

She married her husband, Philip, and they had a son, Martin Hoffman.

Services will be at 10:00 am on February 13, 2020 at Pacific View Memorial Park, 3500 Pacific View Drive, Corona del Mar, CA 92625, (949) 644-2700.
